ℹ️ General Safety Guidelines
Only trained personnel should operate this equipment.
Always read and understand the entire user manual before use.
Keep hands, hair, loose clothing, tools, and other objects away from moving parts at all times.
Do not operate the system if any safety feature is damaged or malfunctioning.
Always ensure the system is properly installed on a stable and level surface.
Never attempt to modify, bypass, or disable any physical safeguards, interlocks, or software-based safety features.
⚙️ Installation and Relocation
Installation must only be performed by Reshape-qualified personnel. Do not attempt to install the device without proper training and authorization.
If the device needs to be relocated or reinstalled (even within the same facility), contact Reshape support before proceeding. The system is sensitive to handling, and improper movement may result in mechanical damage, misalignment, and might not be covered by our general service agreement.
Always ensure the system is properly installed on a stable and level surface.
⚠️ Carousel Safety Warning
This system includes large motorized input and output carousels that move automatically during operation.
DANGER – RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY The carousels are powerful enough to crush or cut fingers. Do not insert hands or fingers:
Underneath the input or output carousel
Into the input or output holes while the system is powered on
Near any moving components, especially during startup or active cycles
Never reach into the input/output ports while the carousel is rotating, even if motion appears slow or stopped.
Do not remove protective covers or attempt maintenance while the device is powered.
👷🏻 Safe Operation Practices
Power off and disconnect the system from the mains before general maintenance, troubleshooting, or cleaning the carousels.
Exception: Where explicitly described in this manual, cleaning procedures may be safely performed while the system is powered on, provided they are followed exactly.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by your lab or workplace policies.
Keep the surrounding area clear of obstructions to allow safe carousel movement.
In the event of entrapment or accident, press the Emergency Stop (E-Stop) immediately and seek assistance.
🧹 Cleaning and Liquids
Do not apply or spray any liquids directly onto the system. This includes cleaning agents, water, solvents, or any other liquid substances.
Instead, apply the cleaning liquid to a paper towel, cloth, or similar applicator and gently wipe the surface.
Avoid excessive moisture and ensure no liquid enters the device through openings, seams, or electronic interfaces.
