This datasheet describes Reshape's Smart Incubator, a combined incubator-imaging system used to acquire data for the Reshape Microbiology Platform.

Smart Incubator

  • An integrated system composed of one rack containing five imaging devices connected via a central networking switch.

When installed, the Smart Incubator only requires one power and one Ethernet supply, saving you from dealing with a tangled mess of cables. Power and ethernet connections to each unit run inside the chassis. Equipped with locking wheels and a robust frame, the Smart Incubator can be safely moved around at your convenience.

Connectivity and bandwidth requirements

  • The connection should be able to sustain 15 Mb/s upload and download speed per unit. Measuring using an online speed test service gives the best indication.
